Dr P.Lakshmiji has been exposed to vedantic teachings from 10 years, starting with Chinmaya Mission. She has listened and imbibed the teachings of H.H Swami Chinmayananda ji, H.H Swami Dayananda Saraswathi (of Arsha vidhya Gurukulam), H.H Swami Paramarthananda ji. Since she was very spiritually inclined from a very young age, her parents went to seek guidance from Kanchi Paramacharya (H.H. Sri Chandrasekarendra Saraswathi Swamigal, Shankaracharya of the Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam) about her future. Paramacharya called her upon to come near Him and blessed her which was a turning point in her life. Soon after, she met H.H Venkatesa Battachar Swamigal and whose Guru was conferred the title ‘Mantra Murthi’ by kanchi Paramacharya Himself.

Her interaction with Guruji started in 1989, who encouraged and guided her to start upasana (Deity Worship) and not restrict herself to Vedanta. She served Guruji over a period of 13 years in his Loka Kshema activities and in the establishment of Sri Viswaroopa Panchamukha Anjaneya Swami Foundation. She was initiated into several mantras by H.H Venkatesa Battachar Swamigal. It was Guruji who used to call her as “Meenakshi Kataksha” Lakshmi because of her devotion towards Meenakshi. During this period, she acquired enormous knowledge of Mantra Shastra Pariharams (ways of expiation), performance of rituals like Durga Shoolini homam, Nava Chandi Yagna, Making Yantras,Mantra Yoga etc. From the cutting edge of science to the feet of Pujya Sri Venkatesa Battachar Swamigal it was certainly a big journey and perhaps a very unusual one. She has dedicated her efforts in the past and committed all her actions for the future to further her Guruji’s ideals to serve humanity at large without any caste, religion, gender, class, race or creed considerations.

She has visited several countries – Malaysia, Kenya, UAE, Singapore , Australia to help the devotees there and to spread the message of Guruji. She helps people to alleviate their sufferings by doing Poojas and Pariharams based on her knowledge of mantra shastra pariharams, divine intuition and astrology.Like Guruji, her name appears in Nadi astrology scrolls for doing Shanti Pariharas.

A few years before attaining Siddhi, her Guru gave his complete blessings and approval to make use of Mantra Shastra for global welfare. She took up the responsibility of completing the task of installing the 40 ft tall Sri Viswaroopa Panchamukha Anjaneya Swami Murti, after the kaivalyam of her Guru. The Maha Samprokshanam (Holy Consecration ceremony) was conducted under her leadership with the excellent support of the board of trustees and devotees. As promised by her to her guru she is striving to accomplish her role in regard to the ashram formation. Lakshmiji is intensely earnest in her Guru Bhakthi. Her bhakthi towards her Guru is something beyond description.

His Holiness PoojyaSri RamBapa from UK (Jignyasu Satsang Mandal) visited Sri Viswaroopa Panchamukha Anjaneya Swami Ashram at Thiruvallur. His Holiness PoojyaSri RamBapa was kind enough to grace us with his bhajans and chanting of Shri Hanuman Chalisa which was attended by thousands. Sri Lakshmiji delivered the keynote address in this gathering.

A massive Athi Rudra Maha Yagnam(3-Sep-09 to 13-Sep-09) at Sri Teertheswarar Shiva Temple,Thiruvallur was organized by Art of Living Foundation,Bangalore under the leadership & presence of His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar ji and the Yagna was presided by Sri Lakshmiji.

She works with the only motto of “Sarve Jana Sukhino Bhavanthu” and there are hundreds of people who have benefitted by her blessings, poojas,Homas and mantras and by the Guru lineage. The hallmark of Sri Lakshmiji is her simplicity and her approach to spirituality. She has managed to make it practical and speaks in a language that reaches the younger generation. Following the Guru parampara tradition, she has initiated several devotees into various mantras like Hayagriva Mantra (Vidhya Jayam), Maha Ganapathi Moola Mantra, Maha Lakshmi Mantra,Durga Navakshari Mantra and Pujas like Raja Mathangi Sahita Ashta Lakshmi Deepa Puja. She has been conducting Nava Chandi Yagnas in Thiruvallur on a regular basis.

With the help of astrology, vedanta, yantras and mantra yoga shastra pariharas she has learnt from her Guru and her background in a premier science institution, she is a very respected source of guidance. To her followers who live across time zones she is not only a source of divine guidance, she is guidance that keeps them under the shelter of our “Punya Bhoomi”. Lakshmiji credits everything to the grace of her Guru.

Sri “Meenakshi Kataksha” Lakshmiji is currently actively involved in completing the superstructure (Raja Gopuram) work of Sri Viswaroopa Panchamukha Anjaneya Swami Temple at Tiruvallur. Sri Lakshmiji is very much concerned that the project started by her Guru is completed and the benefits reach the humanity.
